    Guests may relax and mingle in front of the inviting brick fireplace, on the covered front porch, or the back patio deck surrounded by colorful baskets of flowers. In the evening, the Innkeepers host a social hour where guests are invited to meet and enjoy wine and beverages... perhaps even an impromptu concert on grandma's grand piano.

    Fresh flowers and a decanter of sherry welcome you in all nine guest rooms. The Old Yacht Club Inn offers four sunny guest rooms upstairs plus the Captain's Corner room downstairs which has a private 'aft deck.' The adjacent Hitchcock House features four guest rooms each with a private entry. Like the Julia Metelmann room pictured above, these accommodations are named after one of the Innkeeper's family and highlight distinctive, historic photos and memorabilia. All rooms have private baths and telephones. No radio or television will interrupt your quiet moments.

    Dining at the Inn is a memorable experience. Saturday evening dinners, served only to Inn guests, have become a special tradition. Chef Nancy skillfully prepares a five-course meal featuring the freshest local ingredients. Dinner recipes such as Artichokes Athena, Salmon with Beurre Blanc Sauce or Chocolate Cheesecake may be found in her popular cookbook. Please inquire when making reservations about the current dinner schedule.

    King-size bed. Separate sitting room. French doors open to small deck which adjoins large common deck. Bath with shower.
    Julia Metelmann Room
    King-size bed. Very spacious room. Bath with shower.
    Jardon Room
    Queen-size bed. Cozy room with private entrance. Bath with tub and shower.
    Gallaher Room

    Travel Directions:

    From north or south reaching the Old Yacht Club Inn is a breeze. Highway 101 to Cabrillo Blvd. exit(exits Hwy. from left lane). Turn west on Cabrillo, continue past the bird refuge to Corona Del Mar Dr., the street between the Radisson Hotel and the Cabrillo Inn; turn right to 431.

Upon awakening to the smell of freshly ground brewed coffee, enjoy a gourmet full breakfast individually prepared by the Innkeepers.
