    The Cheshire Cat Inn features three stately Queen Anne Victorian homes, an elegant coach house with two suites, three 2-bedroom cottages and Spa facilities offering full massage and body treatments, all surrounded by exquisite flower filled gardens and patios. The Inn is situated just one block from Santa Barbara's main shopping Street, which is full of attractive courtyards and alleys. The Old Mission is an easy 20 minute walk in one direction and the beach a brisk 40 minutes in the other. A complete renovation and restoration was completed in 1984 providing guests with every modern convenience while maintaining its classical architectural style.

    Each one of the sunny guest rooms and cottages is unique, with an individual charm and ranges from the elegant to the whimsical. Some are larger split-level junior suites with private balconies, some have in-room jacuzzis and fireplaces. Other amenities may include TV/VCRS, ironing boards and refrigerators. The Victorian guest rooms have been decorated with Laura Ashley wallpapers and fabrics and English antiques, while the cottages have oak floors, oriental rugs, pine furniture and Eddie Bauer down comforters. All the rooms have private baths and direct dial telephones.

    The rates include a breakfast and wine and hors d'oeuvres every evening.

    Off 101 take the Arrellagla Street Exit to Chapala. Turn left on Chapala Street - one block to Valerio.

    From San Francisco
    Off 101 take the Mission Street Exit. Left on Mission - three blocks to de la Vina Street. Right on de la Vina - three blocks to Valerio Street. Left on Valerio one block.
